So many people see that strange rogue program on their computer that claims to be an anti-virus program to clean your computer. Often these rogue programs will show you have so many viruses and want you to pay before it will remove them. Well the program you’re looking at is a nasty infection that will only get much worse as time goes on. It’s a fake and please don’t pay any money to that fake program! Some of these include Personal Guard, Antivirus Pro, Green AV, etc. If you let these malware infections continue they can stop you from accessing the internet and prevent you from cleaning them out at all. Just like a cold coming on, take care of it before it’s too late!
So assuming you have a nasty bug infecting your computer, what are your options? If you are able to install a good malware cleaning program then that is your best and cheapest option. You can purchase a program from any retailer that will help clean and protect your computer from any infections, but if the computer will not let you install your new program then you may not be able to return it. If the infection is bad enough, you will either have to pay for a professional tech to remove it or restore your computer to its factory condition. So what about these free virus cleaners that you hear about? Well many aren’t very effective and some are just plain mediocre. However, there is one that shines above the rest, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a very effective malware cleaner. It also offers real time protection, but not in the free version. Just download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and allow it to wipe away all those nasty infections.
After downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, install by following the steps and update when finished. I recommend doing a quick scan first, then a full system scan after that. It will usually want to reboot after each scan.
Hopefully Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has now run and removed all of the infections in your computer. If you’re still having problems remember to follow the other articles to clear the startup and remove temporary files.
